About The Founder

The Reason for It All.

I’ve always believed that a home should feel considered, down to the smallest details. With a background in interior design, I’ve spent years thinking about how the pieces we choose can shape the way a space looks and feels.

When I brought Maple home, I quickly realized how difficult it was to find dog essentials that felt like they belonged in the spaces I loved. I wanted pieces that were functional for her, but beautiful enough that I didn’t feel the need to hide them.

That idea became Modern Hound - a collection of thoughtfully designed pieces for dogs, created with the same consideration we give to the rest of our homes.

Inspired by my love of interiors, thoughtful design, and, of course, Maple - the reason for it all.
